CITY WINERY selection:

RED: 2013 Malbec Mendoza, Argentina.  This is a blend of 68%  Guerrero vineyard , 28% Catena La Pyramid vineyard with a spash (4%) of Cabernet France from Alder Springs, CA.  This wine has a mix of raisined red fruits (cranberry, tart montgomery cherry, salmon berry) from the Guerrero and sweet tobacco, tar and fig from the Catena.  This is restrained and elegant Malbec (alcohol 13.5 and PH 3.67) but with the grip and structure to stand up to grilled meats.

WHITE: 2013 West Loop White. This is our house made 2013 Sauvignon Blanc from Windrem Vineyard, in Lake County. CA.  Tank femented,  softer and creamy, (more akin to a Bordeaux Blanc than Sancerre) with 4% Michigan Riesling to kick up the acidity, aromatics, and add a stone fruit note. Totally refreshing.

CRAFT & IMPORTED beers from Louis Glunz Distribution:
Hirter Privat Pilsner. (5.2 Alcohol)
This special beer is brewed in accordance with an ancient Bohemian recipe. The soft mountain spring water from the water conservation area surrounding the brewery and the choicest of ingredients characterize the Privat Pils’ unique taste.

Berghoff Oktoberfest.  (Alcohol Content 5.6)
Oktoberfest beer as we know it has been a part of classic Bavarian lager repertoire for over 150 years, although the celebration itself dates back to 1816. The familiar rich amber lager we now know by this name originated in Vienna and migrated to Bavaria by the 1850s. Like the classics, our version is deeply malty, with just enough hops to provide a sense of balance. But our version lightens up the body a little to avoid being too sweet, making for a crisper drinking experience. We start with the classic Vienna and Munich malts, but use a few other types as well, for greater complexity as well as an easy drinkability. Slightly more hop bitterness as well as some pleasing hop aroma gives the Berghoff Oktoberfest a bit more punch and personality than the original.

Commodore Perry. (Great Lakes) (Alcohol 7.5)
This monumental India Pale Ale honors the hero from The War of 1812 who battled the enemy on Lake Erie. A medium-bodied and well hopped India Pale Ale with a dry, fruity aftertaste.

Stiegl Grapefruit Radler - Always a RSM favorite! (Austria) (About 2.5 Alcohol)
Hazy pale lemon color; intense, fresh aromas of grapefruit juice with a hint of sweet malt; sweet and tart grapefruit juice flavors with refreshing grapefruit pith and malt in the finish.
