Check out this one of a kind salon "Blo-Bar" made at the request of Jackie, the J in JstranD, a salon in City of Highwood, IL. (With the D for her partner Diane.) Jackie found Rick's booth at Randolph in May and almost instantly, had a vision for her salon's "Blo-Bar" hair drying station in an old section of scaffolding that he was using for display. She wanted it to be longer, 10 or 11 ft and use the old New England pine plank as a counter top, make it shorter, so that it was 32" at the top of the counter and then higher to support a mirror at the top. Get rid of the X's (supports) on the outside and make it so people can sit at it like a bar. WHAT A VISION! This is how it ended up. A piece that is 10.5 ft long and a little over 5 ft high, with a mirror on both sides. The salon is gorgeous as are the people that own it!
