Kate Shewalter of Kate Shew Design, a vendor at Randolph Street Market since October 2007 who offers vintage, mid-century and machine age industrial furniture and accessories.

Kate, who has a previous background in software applications design and project management, now happily does interior design projects and color consultations, in addition to Randolph Street and other local flea markets.  Some of her furniture pieces are sold in original vintage condition, and others painted in her signature custom-mixed colorways.  This month’s “finds” include a 1970’s Danish Modern dresser set at $650 and mid-century Murano blown glass lamp (36” high, $150).

And a vintage red formica table ($65), mid-century sunburst clock ($60), 1930’s Bausch & Lomb optometrist’s stool ($245), and 1940’s factory machine trays ($18 each).  The 1950’s mini Sputnik lamp, above, is $130.  Kate is located in the "P" lot which is on the east side of the lot when you come into the Randolph Street gate and she's in the second row closest to the building.
