VENDOR LAYAWAY PLAN
Randolph Street market requires a minimum nonrefundable deposit of $125 to hold your space.
Your remaining balance will need to be settled no later than 21 days prior to the start date of any Randolph events you signed up for.
If you have paid in full and cancel 14-days BEFORE the event date, we will credit payment towards any other 2026 market IF WE HAVE SPACE AT THAT SHOW, minus the non-refundable $125 deposit.
NO credits will be awarded towards other markets if cancellation is AFTER this 14-day period. NO booth substitutions.
When you receive your initial invoice, it will have the total amount listed, but when you go into pay it, you can enter any amount you want to pay as long as it’s at least $125.
The $125 deposit will go towards your total amount due.
The market takes place rain or shine, indoors and outdoors and is never cancelled.
Booth sharing is allowed ONLY by permission and both vendors must be listed and pay the City pop-up license separately.
We expect that you will use your social media and email lists to promote your participation in any Randolph Street Market.
You may pay by Credit Card, Check or Paypal. Please make checks payable to: City Markets, Inc. Dealers who have written bad checks will lose check payment privileges, and must pay in cash or credit card. Dealers whose checks are returned unpaid will be charged an additional $100 bank fee.
BOOTH RESERVATION SUMMARY
- $125 non-refundable deposit for any RSM Weekend you sign up for.
- Remaining balance due no later than 21 days prior to start date of the event.
- With any cancellation whether by notice or lack of full payment, Randolph Street Market does not offer credits towards other months.
- The market takes place rain or shine, indoors and outdoors and is never cancelled.
- One day only spaces are accommodated subject to availability and management discretion.
- Booth sharing must be approved and each vendor pays separately.
CHICAGO AND STATE OF ILLINOIS VENDOR REQUIREMENTS
City of Chicago
As you will see on your application, we are required by the City of Chicago departments of Special Events and Business Affairs to collect a $25 vending fee from every dealer participating per each market date.
Called the “Retailer Pop-Up License,” this makes it legal for you to vend offsite.
Your company will be listed under the RSM “host” Retailer Pop-Up License for each event you participate in.
If you have trekked down to City Hall already and have a Retailer Pop-Up License, make sure that it covers the dates of whichever markets you’re signing up for. Please submit a copy and we will remove the $25 License fee from your balance.
State of Illinois/Dept of Revenue
Each vendor is required to collect, report and submit State of IL Sales Tax following your event date. Click dates below to print the Payment Coupon:
